Amplifi is an AI-powered podcast content repurposing tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our Service.
2. What We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Account data: Your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth)
- Profile data: Podcast name and host name you optionally provide in Settings
- Usage data: Number of repurposes used, subscription tier, and billing dates
- Content data: Transcripts you submit and the AI-generated outputs produced from them
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe — we never store your card details
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the Service
- Process your subscription payments
- Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- Track usage against your plan limits
- Personalise generated content with your podcast name and host name
We do not sell your data. We do not use your transcripts to train AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Amplifi:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- OpenAI — AI content generation (your transcript is sent to OpenAI's API; OpenAI's API data usage policy applies)
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Vercel — Application hosting
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated content (repurpose jobs) is stored in our database and accessible in your History. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your data

7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security on our database. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — specifically, session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
